Are you a funny video chum?

The Lost Dog folks are looking for more online comedy weirdos who are interested in collaborating with us on future TV and online shenanigans.

We’re interested in folks with a skewed sense of humour. So if you are the type whose very presence causes disapproving glares and protracted silences at family gatherings, drop us a line.

Our show on Melbourne’s very own Channel 31 can accommodate slots of between 1-5 minutes across 6 or 7 episodes.

Let us know your concept in a couple of paragraphs. It could be sketch, sitcom, animation, whatever you do best. A link to a pilot or teaser, or videos of your past work would be mighty helpful.

The Lost Dog crew is a collective of independent content producers. As a producer, your show would always remain your own. We simply help you reach an audience on C31 and online at lostdogtv.com.au.

    Description:

Chris Birne's agency represents writers actors and directors with a bias towards comedy and variety.  There is a constant stream of new faces, businesses and new opportunities.  The office itself is quite colourful, if a little shabby.

Reception is run by Maria who has everything under control(?).  This is not usually the case and if it was, Chris would find a way sabotaging it.

Chris each day makes a miraculous transition. At home: minder of his aged mother, Daisy - eccentric and erratic. In the office, he shares his chaotic approach with Maria Mangiano office manager and house mother and Sean, an out of work actor. Sometimes Chris feels that there's no time to stretch - just to  breathe.

When a competitor  closes his agency, Chris and Maria manage to capture most of the business. Then Craig Bushmill, a young writer, comes looking for help.

Add a romantic adventure for Chris which is verging on collapse and the friendly overtures of the local Mr Big and you have some idea of what you can expect from the typical day with Chris and Maria.  No time for stand still.
